CityLoop and M-TRIBES form a development partnership
M-TOOLS as a key component of the CityLoop booking platform & apps
Walldorf, December 17, 2019. The business-trip start-up CityLoop and the Hamburg-based mobility software specialist M-TRIBES have entered into a development partnership. This paves the way for a customer-friendly design of the ride-sharing provider CityLoop’s booking platform and smartphone apps – with M-TOOLS as an additional key technological component – and will enable further development with exclusive functionalities.
The business-trip service CityLoop, which focuses on medium-distance journeys, adopts a principle of scheduled services and acts as a travel agency, selling cost-effective seats in high-end limousines. The circular routes combine hotspots such as airports and large companies and are served by selected, experienced chauffeur companies several times a day at fixed times. After the test phase on the route between Walldorf and Frankfurt airport, CityLoop is now ready to expand across the road network in Germany and neighbouring countries.
“For companies and their employees on business trips, the focus is on flexibility and reliability during the journey. When you’re looking to establish and rapidly scale up a timetable-based ride-sharing service with a top-end service experience, the technological fleet-management platform and Internet-based booking systems and smartphone apps – the interface to the customer – take on extra significance,” said Jörg Mayer, founder and CEO of CityLoop Travel GmbH: “With M-TRIBES as a new development partner and M-TOOLS as an additional key technological component, we are in a position not only to offer our customers a swift route to an extraordinary driving experience, but also optimised, convenient mobility solutions for web and smartphone!”
Patrick Arle, founder and CEO of M-TRIBES GmbH, is thrilled about the partnership: “The convincing factor here is not only that business trips can be arranged conveniently and securely, but they are also transformed into productive time. CityLoop, a pioneer of new mobility, has opted to rely on our M-TOOLS technology platform.”
